Flagship consultation
Germany First-Steps Consultation
A private 75-minute session that turns your possible move into a sequenced relocation plan.
Who this session is for
The consultation is designed for an individual or couple who expects to move to Germany within roughly three to twelve months. You may have a job offer, be searching for work, joining a partner, or still comparing realistic routes. The useful starting point is not certainty; it is a concrete intention and enough context to discuss dependencies.
What you leave with
Before the call, you complete a short intake covering nationality, household, likely city, work situation, target dates, and questions. During the session we map your route from preparation through the first weeks in Germany. Within two working days, you receive a written action summary with:
- a dated sequence of priority actions;
- a document folder checklist tailored to your circumstances;
- questions that require confirmation from an immigration lawyer, tax adviser, employer, insurer, or authority;
- housing and registration dependencies to consider;
- official sources discussed during the call.
This is planning guidance. It does not include visa representation, completion of government applications, certified translation, tax advice, legal advice, apartment brokerage, or guaranteed appointments.
How the consultation works
- Intake: Submit your context at least two working days before the session.
- Preparation: Your adviser reviews the timeline, household details, and known constraints.
- Video call: We work through residence, employment, housing, insurance, finances, travel, and registration in the order relevant to you.
- Written plan: You receive a concise record of actions, dependencies, and open questions.
Sessions last 75 minutes and take place by video call. Both partners may attend at no extra cost when planning one household move. Calls are offered in English and scheduled in Central European Time.
Before we meet
Bring dates and facts rather than polished answers. Helpful material includes passport nationality and expiry, offer or contract details, marriage or partnership documents where relevant, intended city, savings assumptions, and any messages already received from authorities. Please redact unnecessary identification numbers before sending documents.
Fee, changes, and boundaries
The fixed fee is €165, including preparation and the written action summary. Full payment is requested only after a time is agreed; this website does not process payments. You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice. Because rules vary by nationality and route, we identify legal questions but do not answer them as legal counsel.
Your next step
Tell us where your move currently stands. We normally reply within two Berlin working days with suitable appointment options.
