About Service Wirebase

Planning Before Promises

A Berlin-based relocation practice for people who need their next steps made clear—not their uncertainty disguised.

Why the practice began

Service Wirebase grew from a repeated observation: newcomers often received correct pieces of information in an unusable order. A registration checklist did not explain its housing dependency. Advice about insurance assumed a residence or employment situation that had not yet been settled. People needed a map of decisions as much as they needed facts.

Our small Berlin practice works with international professionals, partners, and households during the planning and early-arrival stages. We pay close attention to the transition from Southeast Asia, including the practical distance between German administrative expectations and documents prepared in Thailand. That perspective never replaces route-specific advice from authorities or qualified counsel.

Who you work with

Your primary adviser is Elena Hartmann, a relocation consultant with eight years of experience coordinating employee moves and independent household arrivals in Berlin, Hamburg, and Leipzig. Her background includes destination support, intercultural briefing, document coordination, and cooperation with immigration lawyers and tax advisers.

Four working principles

Sequence before volume

A short list in the right order is more useful than a comprehensive list without dependencies.

Sources before hearsay

We favour current government pages, insurer terms, employer instructions, and written requirements. Forum experience may reveal questions, but it is not treated as authority.

Boundaries stated plainly

Relocation consultants are not immigration lawyers or tax advisers. When a question crosses that line, we name the right kind of professional and help you prepare a focused question.

Your circumstances remain central

Passport, family status, work arrangement, destination city, language, budget, and timing alter the plan. We do not sell one standard route as if those differences did not matter.
